Once again Sama Sama Project is invited in a funfilled celebration, this time they will be performing at the 2016 AAGL ASIAN AMERICAN PACIFIC ISLANDER HERITAGE MONTH CELEBRATION.
As you all know, SAMA SAMA PROJECT was launched as one of Chicago’s premiere Filipino Folk Fusion band in 2008. “Sama Sama” translated as “united, together” truly live up to their name creating a blend of Filipino folk, rock, ska, and Latin music, inspired by a 1970’s musical movement called Manila Sound.
The band is led by a power couple who are very passionate with their craft. Playing the drums, Baron Lloyd Cabalona, a versatile musician and arranger and wife, the vocalist, Lou Maningas Cabalona, a TV and musical theater actress in Asia and in the U.S have made their mark showcasing a fusion of Filipino tradition folk and contemporary music at many notable venue and events.
The band consists of other talented musicians.

So, get excited as they will be performing at Bank of America, 540 W. Madison, Chicago, IL tonight! Networking and Entertainment will start at 6:30PM . Guest speakers will also take the stage. Free admission for NAAAP Members, Sponsoring Organizations and AAGL Members otherwise, admission is $25.
